Operation to offload suspected sanctioned cargo from Suez Rajan underway

…Investigations into the Rajan’s cargo began last year after US monitoring group United Against Nuclear Iran alleged it had conducted an STS transfer with the Panama-flagged very large crude carrier Virgo (IMO: 9236250), who UANI said had previously loaded Iranian crude from Kharg Island. The Rajan was anchored in Southeast Malaysia for more than year before it set sail to Houston in April.
