UANI Times Square Billboard Thanks Five New York Representatives for Principled Stand Against Iran Deal

New York, NY - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) today unveiled a Times Square video billboard thanking five New York Members of Congress for expressing their principled opposition to the Iran nuclear agreement, formally called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The New York Representatives to be honored include: Steve Israel, Nita Lowey, Eliot Engel, Kathleen Rice, and Grace Meng.

The 29-by-56-foot digital billboard reads: "Thank You for Standing Strong for our Security and Opposing the Iran Nuclear Deal."

Speaking about the billboard, UANI CEO Ambassador Mark Wallace said:

The Iran nuclear agreement is the most important and far reaching national security issue facing Congress in a generation. We thank these New Yorkers for taking the time to carefully review the agreement and rising above partisanship to do what they think is best for our country. The Iran deal should be supported or opposed on its merits alone following a robust and honest debate. The American people deserve nothing less.

The digital billboard is located in Times Square on the facade of 1500 Broadway, a skyscraper at the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street.

On August 11, UANI began using the digital billboard to thank New York Senator Chuck Schumer for his principled opposition to the agreement.
