UANI Releases Photos from Today's Demonstration, Announces UANI Truck

UANI Truck: "GET OUT OF N.Y.: GET OUT OF THE UN: VISIT UANI.COM"

New York, NY - On Monday, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) released photos from its demonstration at the Warwick today, and announced a UANI truck that is now driving around the Warwick. UANI's protests were covered today by CNN.

Today's protest featured UANI signs and activities, including an Ahmadinejad punching bag and a wooden Ahmadinejad for pedestrians to take pictures with while wearing an "I'M WITH STUPID" shirt.

A UANI truck is driving around the Warwick this week, and will be near the United Nations on Wednesday. The truck contrasts the ideals of the UN with Ahmadinejad's record, and reads: "GET OUT OF N.Y.: GET OUT OF THE UN: VISIT UANI.COM"

Said UANI Executive Director, David Ibsen:

We thank all of our supporters who joined us today to protest both Ahmadinejad and the Warwick. Our voices were heard, and will continue to be heard all week.

Ahmadinejad has created a security headache in this city, and the Warwick should be ashamed of itself for hosting an individual who calls 9/11 a "big lie" and leads a regime that has killed hundreds of American troops and sponsors terrorism worldwide.

Recently, UANI announced the launch of a Times Square billboard and bicycle billboards at the Warwick. UANI supporters are also passing out thousands of hand cards outside the Warwick reading "BOYCOTT THE WARWICK."

UANI's campaign has been covered by CNN, Associated Press, PIX 11 News, Fox 5 News,CBS 880 Radio, Agence France Presse, 1010 WINS Radio, and the New York Post (here, here, here).
