New York, NY - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) today released the second in a series of television ads highlighting the numerous risks awaiting companies contemplating business ties with Iran, part of a multifaceted international campaign to clarify the potential legal, financial, and reputational pitfalls inherent in doing business with the number one state sponsor of terror.
The newest ad, "Not A Game," states:
The initial TV ad in the series, entitled "Bad Partner," drew attention to Iran's history of promoting regional terror groups and focused on the likelihood that doing business in Iran will mean more resources for terrorists like Hezbollah and Hamas.
UANI launched its international campaign on November 5 with the release of an open letter detailing the many hazards that business with Iran could trigger, which was signed by dozens of prominent defense and foreign policy experts. Signatories included former Homeland Security Advisor Fran Townsend, former Acting and Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, Senators Kit Bond and Norm Coleman, Ambassador Dennis Ross, and former National Security Advisor to the Vice President John Hannah, among others. The letter calls on the global business community to fully consider the potentially grave consequences of business ties to Iran, citing a host of risks.
On November 9, the open letter was published in the Financial Times.
