UANI Announces Launch of Advertising Campaign Surrounding UNGA

New York, NY -  United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) today announced the launch of a street advertising campaign surrounding this year's meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, NY.

The campaign includes kiosks near the United Nations Headquarters as well as buses in Manhattan.  The ads urge the United Nations and all Americans to take action to prevent Iran from continuing to develop nuclear weapons.

Speaking about UANI's ad campaign, UANI President Ambassador Mark D. Wallace said:

The international community has made significant strides over the past year in increasing financial pressure against Iran.  The ad campaign serves as a reminder to the UN, international companies and private citizens that while such pressure is paying off, more must be done to economically isolate Iran.  Multinational corporations that do business in Iran support a brutal theocratic dictatorship and provide economic support for Iran's illegal nuclear weapons program.

UANI has also called on all New York City Hotels to refuse to host President Ahmadinejad during his visit to New York for UNGA.  Last year, President Ahmadinejad was effectively quarantined to the one venue that agreed to accommodate him.
