According to the AP, Iran's President Ahmadinejad claims that the world supports Iran's nuclear program. "Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is claiming that the majority of the world supports Iran's nuclear program — despite the U.S.-led drive to impose more sanctions on the Persian nation over its uranium enrichment." Reuters reported that Iranian President Ahmadinejad said "the United Nations' nuclear watchdog agency offers 'the best guarantee' that Iran can enrich uranium for peaceful uses, and said the United States 'should cease putting pressure' on the agency....The IAEA has released a report detailing Iran's non-cooperation with the agency's investigation of whether Iran had covertly researched ways to make an atomic bomb."
